Elizabeth was an incredible DOC and truly a lifesaver. We couldn’t recommend her and her team more! It was amazing to just let her be in charge during the whole event, and not have to worry about anything like where we needed to be at a specific time or if things were running well. She has such great energy that was fun, reassuring, and exactly what we needed from a DOC.
We had a lot of tricky situations to navigate, including planning our wedding from across the country, a very fast turn around (45 minutes) between when our venue closed to the public/vendors could set-up and when our guests arrived (during which we had also requested her to do a lot of set-up), and a lot of personal life events that were contributing to wedding stress. From every meeting before the wedding to the entire duration of the day, she was incredibly professional, organized, and on top of everything. She was friendly, easy to talk to, and a great source of help in making different decisions (and always very responsive to email), but also assertive and firm when necessary during the wedding to make sure things happened as needed. Her and her team were on top of the logistics for the day, the different social dynamics we had made them aware of, and a great presence to have in our corner and with us throughout the event. I’m usually beyond controlling and type-A about everything and especially events, but had felt so exhausted leading up to the wedding that I was worried I had let a lot fall through the cracks from inability to keep thinking about it - she made sure this didn’t happen, and it was amazing to let her run the show and to just relax and enjoy the day. We are so grateful and had the absolute best day that wouldn’t have been possible without her and her team!
